Its been a couple months since I have posted. Hopefully the next post will not take as long. Here are some images of the last couple of shows:

The month of April @ PN we had Melanie Cervantes and Jesus Barraza's (Dignidad Rebelde) survey of their current body of work. Melanie and Jesus showed a couple dozen political silkscreen posters as well as a doing a 8 ' x 15' wheat-paste installation.

Art of Democracy Reception, Exhibit and Censored Art @ Pueblo Nuevo 11/08/08

The Art and Democracy show is a traveling exhibit of more than 60 artist that touches upon a wide range of issues of the current state of democracy in the United States. The exhibit has been in more than 50 different venues nationally. We linked up with the curator & artist Art Hazelwood because some of the posters for this show where, with a lack of a better word, censored by the Berkeley City Arts Commission. Peace and Dignity Fundraiser @ Pueblo Nuevo

Part of our mission of Pueblo Nuevo is to provide space for anything your heart desires. We link up with Cinthya Munoz who has been doing fundraising for this years Peace & Dignity run. Juana Alicia Montoya's mural Class @ Pueblo Nuevo

Juana Alicia Montoya is a well renowned Bay Area artist who has painted countless of murals locally an abroad. One of the most well know is the beautiful and amazing mural on the Women's Building in San Francisco. She has been a wonderful supporter of Pueblo Nuevo and we invited her and her class @ Berkeley Community College to come and make Pueblo their home while working on a mural in our neighborhood.
